City of Regina Information

Message from the Mayor

On behalf of my colleagues on City Council and the citizens of Regina, I am pleased to welcome you to Canada's first National Aboriginal Cemetery Conference, Cemetery Management for Aboriginal People and Communities across Canada.

Events such as the National Aboriginal Cemetery Conference help ensure we aren't forgetting the history of the families of loved ones. This is a valuable conference that will benefit our youth and our communities for generations to come.

I offer everyone involved in the conference my support with retaining this piece of history, as well as many thanks for your dedication.

Whether you are a Regina resident or from out of town, I encourage you to explore some of the many attractions the Queen City has to offer, from Casino Regina and the RCMP Heritage Centre, to the Saskatchewan Science Centre, Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. We also have many unique shops and fine restaurants, where you are sure to discover the warm, friendly spirit of our city. I have no doubt you will see why "I Love Regina."

Best wishes for an enjoyable stay and a safe journey home.

Sincerely,
Pat Fiacco
Mayor

Saskatchewan
The people, the land, the sky and the spirit: a place like no other.

If seeing is believing, then you simply have to see Saskatchewan. Otherwise, you won't believe the expanse of the land, the size of the endless sky overhead, or the vibrant colours that fill it at sunrise, sunset or midnight. You won't believe the down-to-earth, welcoming nature of the people you'll meet, or the range of cultures and experiences that have come together to create this unique and spirited society.

See Saskatchewan, and start believing. Start with a visit to www.sasktourism.com.
